Ram Temple Construction Expected to Generate Rs 400 Crore GST Revenue
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust general secretary Champat Rai stated that the construction work for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is likely to generate around Rs 400 crore in Goods and Services Tax (GST). The exact figure will be confirmed after completion. The temple complex will include 18 temples and cover 70 acres.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust general secretary Champat Rai announced that the ongoing construction work related to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is projected to generate approximately Rs 400 crore in Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Speaking at a public felicitation event, Rai said the actual tax collection figure will only be finalized upon the completion of the construction. The temple complex, spanning 70 acres, will house 18 temples, including those of Maharishi Valmiki, Shabri, and Tulsidas. Rai assured that 100 per cent of the tax due will be paid.
Rai emphasized the broad societal cooperation in the construction of the temple and noted measures are in place to accommodate up to two lakh devotees. He also reflected on the sacrifices made during the movement for the temple's construction, likening it to a centuries-old struggle for independence. Additionally, Rai visited Bakawa village to finalize the lingam for a Shiva temple within the complex.
