The second International Buddhist Media Conclave will be held on September 11, aiming to merge Buddhist teachings with contemporary media practices. The event, hosted by the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) and the Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF), will focus on ethical journalism and mindful communication.

Prominent figures like Baichung Bhutia, former Indian football captain, and Gurumurthy, VIF Chairman, will grace the event. The theme, 'Mindful Communication for Conflict Avoidance and Sustainable Development,' underscores the conclave's mission to address global crises through a Buddhist lens.

With media representatives from 18 countries in attendance, the conclave will build on the foundation laid by its inaugural event, which saw 150 delegates from 12 countries. The conclave aims to bolster trust in media institutions and establish a network of Buddhist media professionals across Asia.
