Italian filmmaker Giuseppe Tornatore, celebrated for classics like 'Malena' and 'Cinema Paradiso', will visit India to participate in the Italian Film Festival 'Cinema Italian Style' in Mumbai, organized by the Film Heritage Foundation.

The cultural event will run from September 27 to 29 at Mumbai's Regal Cinema, featuring seven restored Italian classics, including 'Cinema Paradiso,' 'Ennio,' and 'Once Upon a Time in America.' The screenings are open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tornatore, an Oscar-winning director, will headline the festival, which will screen three of his films. Expressing his excitement, he said, 'I am honoured that my films will be presented alongside those of great Italian masters.' The event is supported by Film Heritage Foundation, Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Mumbai, Axis Bank, and IED Istituto Europeo di Design.
