Adani Group has formally established a subsidiary in China, aiming to deliver supply chain solutions and project management services. This development follows a recent regulatory filing.

The flagship firm, Adani Enterprises, revealed that its Singapore-based subsidiary, Adani Global Pte, set up Adani Energy Resources (Shanghai) Co. (AERCL) on September 2, 2024.

AEL, encompassing a variety of industries including mining and infrastructure, is looking to expand its operations overseas, marking this as a significant step in its global strategy.

Coinciding with this, AEL also recently established Airports Infrastructure PLC (AIP) in Kenya to manage and develop airport infrastructure in the African nation.

The Kenyan subsidiary underscores Adani's ambitious plans to invest in Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, with proposals exceeding USD 800 million to enhance terminal and taxiway facilities by 2035.

These expansions highlight Adani Group's drive for international growth, focusing on improving infrastructure and operational efficiencies in strategic locations across the globe.
