Speaking to ANI, Neil and his father, veteran singer-composer Nitin Mukesh, shared their joy over the annual ritual. 'Every year, we eagerly await Bappa's arrival to bless our home. I consider Lord Ganesha my younger brother,' Neil said. He recalled how he and his sisters insisted on bringing Bappa home as children, a tradition that has continued for 31 years.
Nitin Mukesh expressed his happiness, adding, 'Ganesh Chaturthi is a celebration. The presence of friends and relatives makes it even more special.' The vibrant ten-day festival, observed with great enthusiasm across India, involves bringing Ganesh idols into homes, fasting, and making traditional offerings.
