The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has taken a significant step in improving the experience for homebuyers by issuing all relevant documents in a customized folder. Following instructions from Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, this initiative is aimed at ensuring that critical papers are not lost or disputed.

Previously, DDA flat buyers received only loose papers upon purchasing their flat. The new practice includes a plush folder containing essential documents like the demand-cum-allotment letter, payment receipt, possession letter, and others, printed on thicker bond paper. The lack of organized papers has been a significant issue for individuals interacting with DDA.

The initiative began at Golf View Apartments in Dwarka and will extend to all future housing schemes. This change not only ensures the availability of all documents in one place but also adds a memorable touch to the homebuying experience by including a photo of the buyer with the possession letter.
