Maria Sharapova, a five-time Grand Slam singles champion, alongside the doubles team of brothers Mike and Bob Bryan, have been nominated for the International Tennis Hall of Fame's class of 2025.

Also on the ballot is Canada's Daniel Nestor, a 12-time major doubles champion. The list of nominees was disclosed on Tuesday.

Sharapova is renowned for completing the career Grand Slam, winning her first major at Wimbledon in 2004 at the young age of 17. The Russian athlete also clinched two French Open titles, the U.S. Open in 2006, and the Australian Open in 2008. She was ranked No. 1 in the WTA rankings and spent 408 weeks in the top 5.

The Bryan brothers have a historic record with 16 major titles, the 2012 Olympic gold medal, and an unprecedented 438 weeks atop the doubles rankings. Mike Bryan individually holds the career record with 18 Grand Slam doubles titles, including two with Jack Sock during his brother's injury in 2018.

Nestor boasts eight doubles and four mixed doubles major titles, and the Olympic gold medal from the 2000 Sydney Games.

The official Hall of Fame class will be unveiled in October, with the ceremonial enshrinement scheduled for August 21-23, 2025.
