Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan, eagerly awaiting the release of her latest mystery thriller 'The Buckingham Murders', has opened up about her connection to her role as a police officer. The 'Jab We Met' star was present at the Mumbai trailer launch event alongside director Hansal Mehta and co-producer Ektaa R Kapoor.

'I think a mother's love has no language. It's a feeling. Being a mother, I understand that a mother's love is expressed through her eyes, her emotions, and her pain. That's important,' said Kareena Kapoor to the media. She also discussed balancing her professional and personal lives, stating, 'I enjoy the hustle of working while being a mother and a wife.'

Kareena made a striking appearance at the event in an all-black pantsuit. In the film, she plays a grieving detective pursuing a child murderer. The trailer showcases various facets of her intense character, diving deep into a mysterious case.

In a previous interview with Variety, Kareena revealed that her role in the film draws inspiration from Kate Winslet's character in 'Mare of Easttown'. 'I love 'Mare of Easttown' and when Hansal approached me, I was thrilled. We've adapted a bit from that; she's a detective cop,' she said.

'The Buckingham Murders' is set for a theatrical release on September 13. The film's cast includes Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen.

Additionally, Kareena has projects like Meghna Gulzar's 'Daayra' and Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again' lined up. 'Singham Again' also features Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh. The film, the third entry in the popular franchise, follows 'Singham' (2011) and 'Singham Returns' (2014).
