Missing Delhi 'Kanwariya' Found Dead in Sugarcane Field
The decomposed body of Satish Tyagi, a 60-year-old 'kanwariya' from Delhi, was found in a sugarcane field in Uttar Pradesh after being missing since July 30. His body was identified by personal belongings near it. Tyagi disappeared while returning from Haridwar with fellow devotees.

The remains of Satish Tyagi, a 60-year-old 'kanwariya' from Delhi who had been missing since late July, were discovered in a sugarcane field in Uttar Pradesh, authorities reported Tuesday.
The identification of Tyagi's body was confirmed by items found nearby, including his bag and mobile phone, according to Ashutosh Kumar, the officer in charge of Rampur Tiraha outpost.
Tyagi vanished on July 30 while traveling back to Delhi from Haridwar with other 'kanwariyas'. His family had reported him missing to Chapar police after his last known location was traced to Sisona village on the Delhi-Haridwar National Highway.
