President Murmu Commences Maharashtra Tour with Sacred Temple Visit

President Droupadi Murmu began a three-day visit to Maharashtra by offering prayers at Kolhapur's esteemed Mahalaxmi temple. She was welcomed by the state's Governor, C P Radhakrishnan. The President is set to participate in the golden jubilee celebration of the Shri Warana Women Co-operative Group and other events during her stay.

President Droupadi Murmu on Monday commenced a three-day visit to Maharashtra by offering prayers at the renowned Mahalaxmi temple in Kolhapur city. She was received by Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan upon her arrival in Kolhapur.

''President Murmu visited the Mahalaxmi temple and sought blessings of the goddess,'' confirmed district officials.

The President's itinerary includes gracing the golden jubilee celebration of the Shri Warana Women Co-operative Group in Warananagar, Kolhapur, on Monday. She will also attend various programs over the next two days, according to the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
