In a landmark announcement, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath revealed plans to recruit one lakh young individuals into the state police over the next two years. Addressing the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha meeting, Adityanath emphasized the government's commitment to fair and transparent employment opportunities for the youth.
'Today there is no discrimination against the youth in the state,' he affirmed, adding that past seven and a half years have seen employment for over six and a half lakh youngsters. He highlighted the successful completion of a recent police recruitment exam enabling over 60,200 youth to serve.
Discussing politics at the event, Adityanath urged participants to uphold values and ideals, criticizing opposition parties for previously ridiculing yet now worshipping great men's values for votes. His visit to Varanasi included prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple, welcomed enthusiastically by devotees.
