Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Sunday urged the cadets of the Rashtriya Military College (RIMC) to uphold their institution's motto 'Bal Vivek' and cultivate strength and wisdom for life's bigger battles. Emphasizing the importance of national interest, he stated, 'Serve the country with pride and fearlessness. Bharat Mata beckons you.'

Dhankhar called upon the alumni to instill nationalism in the youth and make people aware of India's unique economic growth. Citing former president Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan's words from 1962, he stressed the need for bravery, self-control, and sacrifice in an era of intense competition and rivalry.

Highlighting the fear of failure as an impediment to growth, Dhankhar cited the Chandrayaan mission's success as an example of turning setbacks into achievements. He also applauded the inclusion of girls in RIMC and Sainik Schools, calling it a significant step towards gender equality and justice.
