Air Marshal Tejinder Singh Assumes Deputy Chief Role in Indian Air Force

Air Marshal Tejinder Singh on Sunday assumed the role of Deputy Chief of the Air Staff of the Indian Air Force, the Defence Ministry announced.

Following his appointment at the Air Headquarters (Vayu Bhawan), Air Marshal Singh paid tribute to the nation's fallen heroes by laying a wreath at the National War Memorial.

A seasoned officer, Singh is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy and was commissioned in the fighter stream in 1987. With over 4,500 hours of flying experience and multiple leadership roles, he has also been decorated with the Vayu Sena Medal in 2007 and the Ati Vishist Seva Medal in 2022.
