Naresh Mhaske, Shiv Sena MP from Thane, has urged the railway ministry to broadcast the 'Ganesha Pancharatnam' prayer at all railway stations across the country during the upcoming Ganesh festival.

In a letter to railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Mhaske highlighted that the prayer, composed by 8th-century philosopher Adi Shankaracharya and sung by playback singer Anuradha Paudwal, could enhance the travel experience and promote India's rich cultural heritage.

He also offered to provide a copy of the prayer to the ministry to facilitate the initiative. The MP is considered close to Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
