Nine-year-old Shreyovi Mehta from Faridabad has been named the runner-up in the '10 Years and Under' category at the 60th Wildlife Photographer of the Year award, hosted by the Natural History Museum.
Mehta's captivating photo, 'In the Spotlight,' features two peahens silhouetted under the trees of Keoladev National Park. Her image was selected from nearly 60,000 submissions from 117 countries.
Expressing her joy, Mehta stated her future aspirations in wildlife photography, especially wanting to give recognition to India's national animal, the tiger. She will receive her award in a ceremony at the Natural History Museum in London on October 8.
