Zappfresh, an emerging player in the online meat market, has officially filed preliminary documents with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to launch its Initial Public Offering (IPO).
Announced on Wednesday, Zappfresh disclosed it has submitted the Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) to list itself on the BSE SME platform. Notably, the IPO will include a fresh issue of 59.06 lakh equity shares, carrying a face value of Rs 10 each, while excluding an offer-for-sale (OFS) component.
The raised funds are earmarked for strategic growth initiatives, including acquisitions, marketing, capital expenditure enhancements, optimization of working capital, and general corporate purposes.
