Constituted after the 2017 actress assault case, the Justice Hema Committee unveiled widespread harassment and exploitation of women in Malayalam cinema, leading many female actors to share their own experiences. Sundar highlighted the double standards faced by women in various fields and stressed the importance of support systems for victims.
