Officials confirmed ongoing discussions with airlines. The direct flights between Kullu and Dharamsala address long-standing demands and are expected to significantly benefit tourism.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu highlighted the importance of air connectivity in achieving the state's tourism goals, reducing travel time, and bolstering the local economy. The initiative includes developing heliports in several districts, with a focus on Kangra declared as the tourism capital of the state.
