Popular lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar, alongside his wife and actor Shabana Azmi, attended the special screening of the docuseries 'Angry Young Men' in Mumbai on Monday. The couple posed for photographers as they made their entrance.

Other notable attendees included Boney Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh, the latter opting for a casual yet comfortable outfit. Sobhita Dhulipala arrived in style, while Khushi Kapoor was spotted with her rumoured boyfriend, Vedang Raina.

The screening, which took place at the Excel Entertainment office in Khar, featured Zoya Akhtar's upcoming docuseries that delves into the remarkable collaboration between writers Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar. In a conversation with ANI, Zoya expressed her admiration for the duo's pioneering work, noting their significant influence on Indian cinema and iconic creation of the 'Angry Young Man' character in the 1970s.

The trailer of 'Angry Young Men' showcases reflections from industry giants such as Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and others. This docuseries, produced by Salman Khan Films, Excel Media and Entertainment, and Tiger Baby, is set to premiere on Prime Video India on August 20.
