Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari visited the residence of former state president Satish Poonia to tie him a rakhi, celebrating the bond of protection and familial love.

To further celebrate the day, the state provided free travel facilities for women in state roadways buses until 11.59 pm. This free travel applied to all categories of buses except AC, Volvo, and all-India permit buses.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasra, and other leaders extended their greetings, adding to the festive spirit across Rajasthan.
