Himachal Pradesh's Chief Minister, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, inaugurated and laid foundation stones for multiple development projects valued at Rs 184 crore in the Nadaun assembly segment, his home constituency.

A state-of-the-art multipurpose sports complex, featuring an eight-lane swimming pool, shooting range, and facilities for various sports, is being developed at Kharidi with an outlay of Rs 65 crore, according to an official statement.

Sukhu emphasised that the project aims to channel the energy of the youth in the right direction, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle while deterring drug use. Additionally, he launched two farmers' training centers at Dhanpur (Bara) and Hamirpur, aimed at empowering farmers with modern agricultural practices and transforming Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) into sustainable business entities.
