Superstar Salman Khan spoke about the iconic writing duo Salim-Javed's ability to draw from life experiences while writing for the big screen at the trailer launch of 'Angry Young Men'. The Prime Video docuseries chronicles the celebrated partnership between his father Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar.

Salman Khan, his mother Salma Khan, Farhan Akhtar, and Zoya Akhtar serve as executive producers, alongside Ritesh Sidhwani and Reema Kagti. Salman emphasized that Salim-Javed's works reflected reality, a point showcased in the series.

The documentary reveals the challenges the duo faced, often being misunderstood. Farhan Akhtar noted that their stories were inspired by real people, a trait that influenced his own filmography. Directed by Namrata Rao, the series will stream on Prime Video from August 20.
