Swadesh Conclave 2024 Celebrates India's Heritage and Innovation

The 5th Swadesh Conclave 2024 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, celebrated India's heritage, industry, and innovation. It honored contributions with the Swadesh Samman awards, recognizing leaders in music, industry, public broadcasting, healthcare, and advertising.

The 5th edition of Swadesh Conclave 2024, themed "Brand Bharat," took place at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on August 8. The event brought together leaders and cultural icons to celebrate India's heritage, industry, and innovation. Senior Advocate Pradeep Rai delivered a keynote address, emphasizing the transition from traditional media to 'brain stream' media, driven by social media's influence.

Rai introduced Vision 2047, a strategic initiative for India's long-term growth, with the Conclave's report to be submitted to the Prime Minister's Office. Editor-in-Chief of APN Channel, Rajshri Rai, stressed the forum's role in fostering intellectual engagement over political debate.

Honorees of the prestigious Swadesh Samman awards included Usha Uthup for her contributions to music and Rajeev Juneja for business leadership. Other awardees were All India Radio, Meitra Hospital, and Prahlad Kakkar. The event featured distinguished guests like Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, former Chief Justice N.V. Ramana, and a diverse speaker lineup contributing perspectives on India's progress.
