In an unprecedented display of musical and national pride, Indian music composer and three-time Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej has set a new Guinness World Record with his latest rendition of the Indian National Anthem. This new version, which captivated audiences worldwide, marks a historic milestone in the music industry.

Kej's journey to this achievement began with a collaboration with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of the United Kingdom. Premiered at London's Abbey Road Studios last year, this orchestral performance received significant acclaim, catching the attention of India's Prime Minister.

This year, Kej infused deeper Indian cultural elements into the anthem with the help of esteemed classical musicians like Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and Amaan Ali Khan. Recorded at Bhubaneswar's Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences with 14,000 tribal children, the session set the record for the largest singing lesson ever. The anthem will be released by Universal Music India on India's Independence Day eve.
