NCP president Sharad Pawar emphasized the crucial leadership of Jawaharlal Nehru in shaping modern India and unifying the country after partition. Speaking at a book release event, Pawar praised Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's administrative skills and his efforts to integrate princely states into the Indian Union.

Pawar also highlighted Dr. B R Ambedkar's instrumental role in drafting the Indian Constitution and his significant contributions to electric power and water resource management during his tenure as minister from 1942 to 1946.

The event saw Pawar releasing four books authored by Sheshrao Chavan, including 'Nehru-Patel Relations- Myth and Reality' and 'Culprits of Partition.' '
