Kannada actor-filmmaker Rakshit Shetty is embroiled in a legal controversy as an FIR has been registered against him for the alleged unauthorized usage of two songs from MRT Music in his film 'Bachelor Party'.

The complaint, lodged by Naveen Kumar, a partner at MRT Music, accuses Shetty and his production house of violating copyright laws by using the songs 'Gaalimathu' and 'Nyaya Ellide' without procuring the necessary permissions.

Police have issued a notice to Shetty and have started an investigation. Shetty has yet to comment on the matter as he is currently out of state for a shoot. The movie, directed by Abhijit Mahesh and produced by Shetty's 'Paramvah Studios,' was released on January 26 this year.
