Zeenat Aman's Pregnancy Challenges During 'Daku Hasina' Filming

Veteran actor Zeenat Aman revealed that she became pregnant early during the shoot of her 1987 film 'Daku Hasina', necessitating creative measures by the crew to hide her growing belly. The film, directed by Ashok Rao, features Aman alongside Rajinikanth and was one of her last movies before a career hiatus.

Zeenat Aman, a celebrated veteran actor, recently shared on Instagram how she managed her pregnancy while shooting for her 1987 film 'Daku Hasina'. Aman revealed that she became pregnant at the start of production, which led the crew to employ inventive techniques to conceal her growing baby bump through the shoot.

The film 'Daku Hasina', directed by Ashok Rao, stars Aman as Roopa who transforms into a fierce dacoit to avenge her parents' murder. The Hindi movie also features Rajinikanth as Mangal Singh. Aman also noted that the film was one of her last before she took an extended break from the film industry.

Aman reminisced about the 1980s feminist wave in India during the film's release, mentioning significant legal reforms and rising social awareness. She reflected on the sense of liberation during that period. Despite its relevance, 'Daku Hasina' did not perform well at the box office. Zeenat Aman will soon appear in 'Bun Tikki' with Shabana Azmi and Abhay Deol.
