Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday reiterated his administration's commitment to constructing a state-of-the-art film city in Mysuru, fulfilling a long-cherished dream of Kannada cinema legend Dr. Rajkumar.

Addressing reporters after inaugurating the new Kannada Film Producers' Association building, Siddaramaiah assured that under his leadership, concrete steps would be taken towards the establishment of a Kannada OTT platform.

'Our government has allocated 100 acres of land in Mysuru for the film city, which will be developed on a public-private partnership basis,' the Chief Minister stated, criticizing the previous BJP government for its inaction on the project.
