In an exciting development, actor Park Sung Woong has been officially confirmed to join the cast of TVING’s upcoming series, 'Good or Bad Dong Jae.' The drama is a spin-off of the immensely popular 'Stranger' series and will feature Lee Joon Hyuk reprising his role as prosecutor Seo Dong Jae.

Park Sung Woong takes on the role of Nam Wan Sung, the CEO of Lee Hong Construction, a character set to clash with Lee Joon Hyuk's Seo Dong Jae. The narrative revolves around Dong Jae's earnest quest to break free from his past and establish himself as a respected prosecutor. However, standing in his way is Nam Wan Sung, a formidable self-made businessman with a relentless determination to dig into Dong Jae's history, a past the prosecutor is desperate to erase.

Nam Wan Sung, portrayed by Park Sung Woong, is depicted as a man who attributes his success to wealth and influential connections, in contrast to his father's humble beginnings. His character sees Seo Dong Jae as a hindrance and is prepared to take extreme measures to eliminate obstacles hindering his redevelopment projects and business expansion.

The series is in the capable hands of Lee Soo Yeon, the acclaimed writer behind both seasons of 'Stranger.' The screenplay is entrusted to Park Geon Ho, with Hwang Ha Jung and Kim Sang Won also contributing their creative expertise to the production.

Expressing their enthusiasm for the upcoming spin-off, the production team shared, "The new series delves into the challenges faced by Dong Jae, a character known for his two-faced persona in 'Stranger.' Brace yourselves to witness how these dynamic characters navigate a world where alliances and enmities are ever-changing."
