Actors Cha Joo Wan, Oh Min Soo, and Cha Woong Gi have been chosen to play lead roles in an upcoming K-drama, BL (Boys' Love) drama titled "Love for Love’s Sake," as announced by the production team.

"Love for Love’s Sake," which takes its inspiration from a popular web novel of the same name by Hwacha, is set to be a fantasy romance drama. The central storyline follows the life of Tae Myung Ha, a 29-year-old young man portrayed by Lee Tae Bin, who experiences a bewildering twist of fate. He suddenly finds himself transported into a fictional online game where he inhabits the body of a 19-year-old character. The narrative unfolds as Tae Myung Ha embarks on a quest within the virtual world to bring happiness to a character named Cha Yeo Woon.

Cha Joo Wan's role in the drama is that of Cha Yeo Woon, a character who holds great significance for Tae Myung Ha in the game. He is entrusted with the mission to ensure Cha Yeo Woon's happiness within the digital realm. Despite his humble upbringing, Cha Yeo Woon has managed to excel in the national track and field championships, maintaining a remarkable reputation among his peers due to his handsome looks and athletic physique.

Taking on the character Cheon Sang Won is Oh Min Soo. Cheon Sang Won hails from an affluent family and becomes emotionally entangled with Tae Myung Ha. His involvement adds complexity to the developing relationships among the characters, particularly between Tae Myung Ha and Cha Yeo Woon, thereby intensifying the overall tension in the storyline.

Meanwhile, Cha Woong Gi steps into the role of Ahn Kyung Hoon, a character characterized by introversion and a reserved nature. Ahn Kyung Hoon's presence is designed to support and assist Tae Myung Ha on his mission within the virtual world.

The production team expressed their excitement over the ensemble cast of Cha Joo Wan, Oh Min Soo, and Cha Woong Gi, stating that their inclusion enhances the drama's overall lineup. They encouraged audiences to anticipate the profound journey of self-discovery and genuine happiness that the three actors will portray through their youthful and fresh performances.

"Love for Love’s Sake" is set to captivate viewers in the latter half of this year, promising an intriguing blend of fantasy, romance, and youthful exploration.
