Is The Glory Season 2 happening? Everything we know so far

The South Korean drama series, The Glory, became an instant hit with viewers when it premiered on Netflix in December 2022. Part 2 was released on March 10, 2023, and continued to captivate audiences with its intense storyline of revenge against school bullies. The series centers around Moon Dong-eun's quest for vengeance against a group of school bullies who tormented her in her youth. Part 1 ended with Park Yeon-jin and Ha Do-yeong discovering Moon Dong-eun's apartment, where they found pictures of Park Yeon-jin's notorious bully gang pasted on the walls, hinting at Moon Dong-eun's long-planned revenge. The season concluded with the women getting into a scuffle, leaving fans excited for the second season.

On January 18, Netflix released new stills of the cast, including Song Hye-kyo, Lee Do-hyun, Lim Ji-yeon, Jung Sung-ill, and Park Sung-hoon, sparking speculation about what could happen in the upcoming season. Some fans believe that the story could revolve around Joo Yeo-jeong seeking revenge against his father's murderer with the help of Moon Dong-eun. We may also see more victims of bullying come forward, with Dong-eun devoting her life to taking down those who have wronged her and others. However, this could raise ethical questions about how far Dong-eun can go before her need for revenge hurts someone innocent.

Despite fans' intense anticipation for a second season, Netflix has not made any official announcement about the show's future. While some Korean outlets speculate that The Glory may be a standalone or limited series, many fans hope that the show will continue. Regardless of the decision, the conclusion of Part 2 provides closure for the majority of characters and leaves fans satisfied with the overall story.
