Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde on Tuesday called for students and youth to combine technological advancements with human values, aiming to position India as a global leader. Speaking at the 14th convocation ceremony of Rajasthan Technical University, Bagde conferred degrees and awards, including one Chancellor's Gold Medal and 20 academic excellence gold medals.
Highlighting the advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics, Bagde stressed the importance of using knowledge for innovation and entrepreneurship. He also expressed concern over India's scientific heritage being claimed by European nations and praised the National Education Policy for fostering holistic student development.
Central University of Gujarat Vice Chancellor Professor Rama Shankar Dubey echoed Bagde's sentiments, noting the youth's transformative potential. RTU Vice Chancellor Professor S.K. Singh added that the university promotes research and innovation, strengthening technical education and contributing to global educational standards.
