Tragic School Bus Incident in Kannur: Young Student Loses Life

A 10-year-old girl was killed and 18 others injured when a school bus overturned in Kerala's Kannur district. The bus lost control while trying to give way to another vehicle. The deceased student, identified as Nedya S Rajesh, was a fifth-standard student at Chinmaya School.

A tragic accident occurred in Kerala's Kannur district, leading to the death of a 10-year-old schoolgirl and injuries to 18 other students. The incident happened when a school bus overturned at Valakkai on Wednesday, authorities reported.

According to police sources, the girl, identified as Nedya S Rajesh, was thrown from the bus and fatally crushed as it overturned. She was a fifth-standard student at the Chinmaya School in Kurumathur.

At the time of the accident, the bus carried 20 students. It reportedly lost control while attempting to yield to another vehicle, resulting in the tragic overturn. One of the injured remains in critical condition.
