On Tuesday, the protest against the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission's (UPPSC) scheduling of the RO-ARO and PCS preliminary examinations on different dates entered its second day. The protesters, primarily students, laid siege to the UPPSC headquarters, demanding uniform examination dates.

Despite police attempts to disperse them, many protesters spent the night outside and were soon rejoined by their peers. Various slogans, such as "We will not retreat, we will remain united until we get justice," highlighted their determination. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) expressed solidarity, calling for improved exam procedures.

Addressing candidate concerns, the UPPSC plans to eliminate irregular testing sites to ensure exam integrity. Exams will now be held at centralized locations to minimize issues, with PCS prelims slated for December 7-8 and RO-ARO exams scheduled for December 22-23, conducted across several shifts.
