New Delhi [India], November 9: India's rise as a global technology leader is increasingly dependent on diversity in tech, which is pivotal not just for equity, but also for economic success. Embracing diversity leads to inclusive and impactful products, as exemplified by E-mma's #CodeAtHome program.
Launched in 2021, this global initiative encourages coding skills among children and teenagers, focusing on diversity. After successes in France, Europe, and India, #CodeAtHome plans to expand in India, having already engaged over 90,000 participants, nearly half of whom are girls.
The initiative, supported by prominent partners like BNP Paribas India, aims to reach 1 million young learners across major Indian cities by 2024, strengthening the nation's future tech talent and tackling challenges of inclusivity and the digital divide.
