IIM Bangalore's Shining Achievement: Full Summer Internship Placement
IIM Bangalore concluded its summer internship placements for 2024-26 with 601 students receiving offers from 140 organizations. The placements spanned various domains such as consulting, finance, and marketing. Management Consulting emerged as the top preference, constituting 38% of all offers. Student performance received positive feedback from recruiters.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has successfully wrapped up the summer internship placement process for its PGP and PGP-BA 2024-26 cohorts. A total of 601 students secured positions from 140 different organizations, spanning multiple industries.
According to Professor Nishant Verma, Chairperson of Career Development Services at IIM Bangalore, students delivered exceptional performances throughout Summer Placement Week, earning numerous prestigious offers from leading companies. Tapas Ranjan Pati, Head of Career Development Services, shared that global recruiters praised both the students' performance and the overall placement process.
Management Consulting continues to be the most sought-after field for students, with 38 percent of the offers falling in this domain. Meanwhile, placements also extended to finance, product management, sales and marketing, general management, and analytics.
