In a significant stride towards educational reform, Chief Minister Atishi laid the foundation for a new senior secondary school in Dwarka Sector 19, promising facilities to rival the area's top private institutions.
The upcoming school, boasting 104 rooms, will feature state-of-the-art amenities including an amphitheatre, three libraries, and courts for basketball and badminton, catering to about 2,000 to 2,500 students.
Reflecting on past stigmas of inadequate government schools, Atishi highlighted the dramatic changes post-2015 under the leadership of Delhi's Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, attributing doubled education allocation for improved infrastructure and opportunities.
