Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is on a diplomatic mission to strengthen educational ties with Singapore. This initiative, part of his two-nation tour, seeks to foster enhanced cooperation and mutual interests in education, specifically targeting areas like PhD programs, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology.
During his Singapore visit, Pradhan will engage with Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and other key ministers to discuss educational collaborations. He will visit the prestigious National University of Singapore and meet with influential academicians and alumni from Indian institutions.
Addressing the Indian diaspora, Pradhan highlighted India's budding leadership in the global economy, underpinned by its knowledge-driven society, digital advancements, and stable governance. He also noted India's emerging role as a major hydrogen exporter in the global energy sector.
