According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Colin Gray, age 54, faces multiple charges, including four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder, and eight counts of cruelty to children. This action comes after both Grays had previously been questioned last year regarding an online threat related to a school shooting, though no arrests were made at that time due to insufficient evidence.

The younger Gray utilized a semiautomatic rifle in the attack, though current investigations are focusing on how the weapon was obtained. The shooter remains in custody and will be tried as an adult. His arraignment is scheduled for Friday before a Georgia Superior Court judge.
