Successful Conduct of NEET-PG 2024 Ensures Examination Integrity

The NEET-PG 2024 exam was conducted successfully at 416 centres in 170 cities by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences. Originally scheduled for June 23, the exam was postponed. Over 2,28,540 candidates were issued admit cards. Rigorous measures and coordination ensured a smooth examination process.

The NEET-PG 2024 examination was conducted smoothly in two shifts across 416 centres in 170 cities, organized by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), an autonomous body under the Union health ministry.

Initially set for June 23, the medical entrance test was postponed to address concerns over the integrity of competitive exams. Despite the rescheduling, the test saw successful participation with admit cards issued to 2,28,540 candidates, who were mostly assigned centres within their respective states.

NBEMS established a central command centre in Delhi and eight regional centres to oversee the examination process. More than 1,950 independent appraisers and 300 flying squad members were deployed to maintain the examination's integrity and prevent misinformation.
