The first-year BTech course fee, for example, has been increased by 3.70% from Rs 2.16 lakh to Rs 2.24 lakh. A senior official at the Faculty of Technology stated that the hike adheres to university guidelines and applies only to first-year students.
Several components, including tuition fees, welfare funds, development fees, and services charges, have been raised. Notably, Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) fees have been removed from certain courses. For foreign students, some fees have been reduced.
