Delhi Education Minister Atishi made it clear on Thursday that the government will not tolerate any compromise regarding the education of children in its schools. This announcement follows the Directorate of Education (DoE) declaring over 17,000 Class 9 students as 'unsuccessful' for the second time.

The Delhi BJP has criticized the education minister, stating that the poor performance exposes the claims of providing world-class education. BJP President Virendra Sachdeva emphasized that schools deliberately fail weaker students so that fewer take the board exams in Classes 10 and 12, alleging this inflates the government's success rates.

Atishi, in meetings with officials and principals, underscored the need to resolve the teacher shortage and reaffirmed the government's commitment to ensuring no child is left behind. She also praised school principals for their role in improving student performance and encouraged them to continue innovative methods to enhance learning.
