Three Indian students from Karnataka and Rajasthan have been named among the top 50 finalists for the coveted Chegg.org Global Student Prize 2024. This annual award, which includes a USD 100,000 prize, honors students making significant contributions to education and society.

Among the finalists are Prajwal Naveen Halalae, a 17-year-old from Bengaluru who co-founded CloudAttack Edutech to bridge the global skill gap; Divaa Uthkarsha, a 16-year-old from Bengaluru driven by personal tragedy to aid type 1 diabetic children through Project Surya; and Kavin Sharma, a 17-year-old from Jaipur, who developed platforms like Mauka and Janam aimed at student empowerment and women's health.

As Chegg's Chief Communications Officer Heather Hatlo Porter emphasized, these young changemakers' innovative solutions, ranging from emotional AI tools to healthcare advocacy, illuminate a hopeful future. The top 10 finalists will be announced in September, with the winner chosen by the Global Student Prize Academy later this year.
