Argentina receives three bids for its stake in power transport firm Transener

​Argentina's privatization ​of majority ‌state-owned power ​transport firm Transener is ‌nearing its final stage, Economy Minister Luis Caputo said ‌on Tuesday, having received three ‌bids from firms for its stake.

Transener is the ⁠South ​American ⁠nation's main high voltage power transmission ⁠company, with the government ​looking to sell off its ⁠51% stake. Libertarian President ⁠Javier ​Milei has promised to privatize a number ⁠of state firms in ⁠his administration, ⁠including legacy carrier Aerolineas Argentinas.
