The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, put India's agricultural and processed food excellence on display at the 39th edition of AAHAR 2025. The exhibition, organized by the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) and held from March 4th to 8th at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, marked a pivotal moment in showcasing India's prowess in the agriculture and food processing sectors.

APEDA facilitated the participation of 95 exhibitors, including Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), companies, and entrepreneurs from 17 states and several Union Territories. These diverse participants highlighted India's agricultural strength and the collaborative effort driving growth and innovation within the industry. The event was a testament to India's potential in transforming its agriculture and food processing sectors, according to the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.

In a dedicated segment, APEDA Chairman Abhishek Dev addressed the 'India Plant-Based Foods Show', emphasizing India's expanding role in global agricultural exports. He underscored the importance of exploring plant-based exports as a sustainable alternative to fulfill global environmental targets. The APEDA Pavilion featured a comprehensive range of organic foods, beverages, spices, and meat products. An interactive wet sampling area also allowed visitors to savor healthy Indian cuisines, prepared by a celebrated Indian chef, thereby offering a taste of India's rich culinary heritage.
