A tragic accident in Maharashtra's Solapur district claimed the lives of two individuals and left four others seriously injured. The collision between a sports utility vehicle (SUV) and a tempo happened on Wednesday morning in Manidargi village, located on the Akkalkot-Gangapur highway, local police reported.
Authorities stated that the tempo was en route from Gangapur to Akkalkot when it was hit by the SUV, which was traveling from the opposite direction with six passengers on board.
The SUV's driver reportedly lost control, resulting in the fatal crash. Police confirmed that two passengers died instantly, while four others suffered severe injuries.
