In a significant move, oil corporations in India lowered the prices of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) and commercial LPG, aligning them with international benchmarks. The ATF price cut marks a decrease of 1.52% in New Delhi, offering some relief after previous monthly hikes.

The decision follows earlier increases for ATF by 3.3% in November and 1.45% in December. Mumbai's ATF price also saw a reduction, bringing it down to Rs 84,511.93 per kilolitre. Meanwhile, commercial LPG prices experienced their first cut after five consecutive hikes, now priced at Rs 1,804 per 19-kg cylinder in the national capital.

Despite these adjustments, domestic cooking gas prices remain stable, and petrol and diesel prices continue to be frozen since a previous cut in March ahead of the elections. These changes reflect state-owned oil firms' ongoing efforts to adapt to global market fluctuations.
