Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, announced a significant 26.6% drop in its 2024 retail sales, tallying 5,816 units amid supply chain difficulties, compared to 7,931 units in 2023.

Audi India's head, Balbir Singh Dhillon, highlighted that while supply-related challenges marred the first half of 2024, the brand retained customer trust. The fourth quarter saw a promising 36% increase in sales over the third quarter, aided by improved supply conditions.

Dhillon also noted 2024 as a pivotal year, marking the sale of a cumulative 100,000 cars in India. Looking forward, Audi remains optimistic about the Indian luxury market and anticipates continued sales growth in 2025.
