Vadhvan Port Awards Key EPC Contract to ITD Cementation

In a significant move, Vadhvan Port Pvt Ltd has chosen ITD Cementation India for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract. The project involves near-shore reclamation and shore protection for the innovative Vadhvan Port, positioned in Maharashtra.
With a quoted price of Rs 1,648 crore, ITD Cementation's bid came in 6.892 percent lower than the estimated Rs 1,770 crore, making it both economical and feasible for this crucial undertaking, according to Vadhvan Port Pvt Ltd.
The development covers approximately 200 hectares in the near-shore zone, paving the groundwork for future endeavours such as loading points and essential port infrastructure. Jointly owned by the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority and Maharashtra Maritime Board, this initiative marks a stride towards a robust port framework.
