The National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) has signed an agreement with Bihar for the creation of an integrated manufacturing cluster in Gaya, valued at Rs 1,339 crore. This strategic partnership aims to bolster the region's economic landscape significantly.
Spanning 1,670 acres, the project promises an investment potential of Rs 16,524 crore. It is designed to generate approximately 1,09,185 jobs, offering substantial socio-economic benefits to the local community and aligning with the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor (AKIC).
The Integrated Manufacturing Cluster (IMC) is set to attract diverse industries, including building materials, agri-food processing, and leather goods, among others. This development marks a pivotal step in regional industrial expansion and diversification.
